Dr Helen Qing HE has a multidisciplinary educational background in public administration and sports science. Her doctoral project employed a mixed method approach to investigate the effectiveness of a parent-led program for improving physical activity levels and fundamental movement skills among Hong Kong preschool-aged children.
Prior to joining the BIMHSE in 2022, she was a postdoctoral fellow at the Chinese University of Hong Kong and worked on a community project for promoting primary school students; physical activity levels and psychological wellbeing. Her research interests are interprofessional education and practice, health promotion, behavioral psychology, and early childhood education. At present, she is involved in research and teaching activities in interprofessional education and problem-based learning for health professions students.
