Given growing interest in health professional education scholarship in Hong Kong, this seminar is offered to introduce medical educators and researchers to the publishing landscape. Dr Kevin Eva, the Editor-in-Chief of the leading international journal in the field, Medical Education, will outline common pitfalls and successful strategies for achieving publication success. To do so, he will draw attention to differences between journals (and between sections within journals) in an effort to help participants align their goals for innovation, evaluation, and research with dissemination planning. From this presentation, participants will be guided to submit more competitive manuscripts for publication. Ample time will be saved to address participant queries and to identify ways in which interested individuals can receive further support.
Dr Kevin Eva is Associate Director
