Advanced Professional Development Programme in Health Professions Education (Seminar 1)
This interactive workshop is designed to support medical educators in developing a purposeful and evidence-informed teaching portfolio. Participants will explore different types of portfolios and reflect on how to align their portfolio with their personal values, teaching context, and career goals. Guided activities will support participants in drafting key portfolio components, including an initial teaching philosophy statement, and in identifying concrete strategies and evidence to demonstrate their educational impact on students and programmes. The workshop will also provide practical guidance on structuring and strengthening portfolios to support applications for Advance HE Fellowship and other forms of professional recognition.
