  • Abstract
The conference is a flagship educational event of the Faculty. Entitled “Medical Education Disrupted – Negativity or Creativity”, the 2-day conference will feature stimulating plenary sessions, panel discussions, workshops and free paper presentations, which aim to provide a platform for practitioners to exchange experience and knowledge in medical and healthcare education.

Global transformation and disruptive innovations are taking place at neck breaking pace and this has wide-reaching implications, especially as they relate to medical and health care education, research and practice. An array of topics will thus be explored in this conference centering around the questions of “What is disruption?”, “What is happening now?” and “What is likely to happen next?” “How would or should disruption in health care or other industries affect the way we train our health care professionals?” Hopefully after attending this conference, delegates will be challenged to adopt ever more creative ways in nurturing disruption embracing graduates in this ever changing world.
