“Beneath the white coat lies the knowledge and skills, as represented by the notebook and stethoscope respectively. Meanwhile, we need to impart our compassion as we are going to treat people, not an object. This is the reason why we cast the shadow of our heart to depict our wills to impart our compassion. We can acquire the necessary skills and knowledge through learning and practice. Moreover, the empathetic heart is hidden as shadow, taking time to be uncovered, and it is the passion that supports us throughout our journey.”
