Eligibility
All undergraduate students in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine are eligible to register for the STaR programme. Student applicants are expected to have facilitated in peer teaching programmes, such as peer learning sessions, problem-based learning sessions, practical sessions in a laboratory, etc.
Undergraduates who have completed at least 25 hours of peer teaching in the Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine, other healthcare settings, the University of Hong Kong, and/or other higher education institutions are eligible to register. Applicants who have not yet fulfilled the 25-hour requirement are still eligible to register, given that they have already accumulated some peer teaching hours before registration and will complete the remaining hours during the course of the programme.
